FATHER RON AND FRIENDS
Father Ron and Friends, beloved folk/Americana band from New Orleans, released their popular folk album “Forever The Seasons”via Louisiana Red Hot Records in 2024. Band members include Father Ron Clingenpeel, David Schwartz, Robert Eustis, Barbara Smith-Davis. Fresh from West Coast tours that include performances at renowned venues like The Viper Room’s acoustic lounge in Hollywood, the band is excited to share their new music with the world.

Led by retired Episcopal priest Father Ron, also known for his role as a folk DJ on WWOZ radio, Father Ron and Friends deliver a heartfelt tribute to the American experience through their music. Drawing inspiration from folk legends like Pete Seeger, The Seekers, and Woody Guthrie, the band offers their own take on traditional American music, blending soulful vocals with intricate instrumentation.

“Forever The Seasons” features guest appearances from Louisiana musicians Jack Craft on cello and Gina Forsyth on fiddle, as well as vocal contributions from New Orleans talents like Debbie Davis. Produced by Andre Bohren and recorded at various studios including Marigny in New Orleans, the album showcases a range of folk/Americana tunes, from the award-winning title track “Forever The Seasons” co-written by LRHR's own Carmen Sunda, to classics like “Saint James Infirmary.”
